The core of PRI's message is understanding the goal of humanity and to find some kind of fullness and wholeness. Human nature longs for divinity, and divinity longs to dwell in human nature. This brings peace; and what a difference a life of peace makes, particularly in a world where there is so much stress and division.

Our Mission

Pastoral Reflections Institute is an independent Christian ministry for spiritual renewal that nurtures the awareness of God’s indwelling presence to live an authentic and compassionate life.

We are excited to share with you the video of the first lecture in our four-part series, Recovering a Religion Rooted in Grace and Mercy!

In case you missed it, Msgr. Don spoke about how a post-Vatican II church impacts our lives. We learned how the Vatican Council transformed his heart and continues to awaken others to God's love and mercy today. Most importantly, we shared a renewed hope in the Council’s teachings on love and the future of the Church.

But what does an awakened heart do when encountering a religion focused on control and judgment?

Come find out on May 25 from 9 am to 12 pm at our second in the four-part series: Faith in the Face of Fear. It will be held at the Crum Auditorium in the James M. Collins Executive Education Center at SMU. There is no charge for the lecture, however registration is required.
