Walking the Path - Day 3
Paying Attention
Today's Theme
Enlightenment means seeing reality through God's eyes.
Scripture Reading
Luke 24:3
but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
Walk with Msgr. Don
One thing I love about a path is that it doesn't have road signs.
It meanders.
It twists.
Sometimes you can't see where it's leading.
That means we have to be attentive.
We need to pay attention to where we are on the path. We need to know who is walking beside us. We need to remember our destination.
And what is that destination?
You've heard me say it before.
It's enlightenment.
To see.
To know what is real.
To know what is true.
That's what we're here for—not only for ourselves, but for one another.
Your Reflection Questions
Where might God be inviting you to see differently?
What assumptions are preventing you from recognizing Him?
Today's Practice
Spend five quiet minutes asking:
"Lord, what do You want me to see today?"
Continue the Journey
There is no right or wrong way to make this retreat.
If a particular reflection stays with you, spend as much time with it as you need before moving on. The goal isn't to finish in seven days—it's to become more attentive to God's presence in your life.
If today's reflection spoke to you, consider sharing your thoughts or experience in the comments below. You may find encouragement in the reflections of others, and your own words may become a source of hope for someone else who is walking the same path.
We invite you to journey together.
